Matthew rose
Matthew rose is a lovely hybrid tea rose, with bright vermillion/coral red blooms, fading with age to coral pink tones.
Large and beautifully shaped blooms with high pointed centres are very eyecatching in the bright red coral glowing tones.
Sturdy and upright stems support the blooms which can form both singularly and in numerous small clusters with up to 15 blooms per stem.
New growth has an attractive young bronzed and deep red finish ageing to a dark green and glossy foliage, very healthy.
Flowering commences early summer and continues in repeat flushes right through to late autumn.
